Before you register
Do I need to be an EcoCash merchant to start?
No. Registration needs your name, email and a password. Company, merchant and KYC details are only collected when you request production access.
Does the sandbox cost anything?
No. The sandbox is free and no real money moves. Every transaction is simulated.
What do I need to build with?
Any language. The APIs are REST over JSON.
How do I get production access?
Complete your sandbox testing, then submit a production access request with your merchant details. EcoCash reviews it and issues your production credentials.
Which APIs are live in production?
Online Payments, Enterprise Cash-In, Disburse Change, Merchant to Subscriber and Transaction Lookup are all live in production.
